Our Practical E-trading

Ghanaloop is here to save you money and give you access to goods in the most practical means. What is being proposed and that has the potential to cut into traditional trading patterns and encourage access to cheaper goods is a pre-payment order scheme similar to trading on the Internet.

Our method

1. We have established Focal Points in three cities in Ghana (Accra, Kumasi and Sunyani) where all customers could go and make enquiries and give a description (with model number etc where possible) of a good(s) abroad (anywhere in the world) that they are interested in;
2. Brochures/Catalogues from many companies are available at these Focal Points for people to look through and make their orders;
3. The Focal Points under the management of Ghanaloop would liase with the supplier of the goods in the country of origin of the goods/product to identify and confirm the price of the said product. Ghanaloop would get a picture or a website showing the product, to the customer at the Focal Point;
4. The price of the product, shipping cost, duty etc would be worked out and the customer made to see a picture of the product and if interested pay for it on order. The necessary paperwork would be made and signed between both parties;
5. For business shipping, only a deposit to be agreed upon would be made and it shall be the responsibility of Ghanaloop to ship samples for the buyer to confirm interest and make full payment; and
6. Then the product would be purchased and shipped over and a Bill of Laden collected at the Focal Point and the customer would go for it either from the port or from the Focal Point depending on the terms of agreement and money paid.
